St. Michael's-On-Sea is a small seaside town on the south coast and is situated between Margate and Port Shepstone, next to Shelly Beach. The town is more like a hamlet and is about 6 km from Margate. Renowned for its bathing beach the area, ensures protected swimming and lives up to its reputation as a sunbather’s and surfer’s paradise. Main attractions include surfing, fishing, paddle boats and lagoon.
