Uvongo on the Lower South Coast of Kwa Zulu Natal, a friendly town with lovely swimming and private beaches, fishing spots, a nature reserve, beautiful scenery and so much more. Uvongo is named after the Ivungu River. The Uvongo River falls with a 23m high waterfall into the lagoon at its mouth into the Indian Ocean. Uvongo Bird Park offers walk-through aviaries. Uvongo is one of the prettiest spots on the Lower South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal and is netted and patrolled seven days a week by professional lifeguards.
